Pam Thomas called this morning, and asked me to meet her at the in-laws so she could pick up some things she was borrowing for a wedding. So we took off and on the way up, Duncan was on a profound kick.
He said, "Mom, Jason won't be judged like we will. You know?" I looked at him in the rear view mirror, and explained how accountability works. I said, "I'm hopeful that Jason will do fine! That he will be able to understand right and wrong. But, if not we'll just all have to be good so we can meet him in the Celestial Kingdom." Boy is it hard to drive when you have tears running down your face! How I love my sweet boys!!
