October 12th-15th

On October 12th we hopped into the car and drove to Arizona.  Our niece Reagan was getting Baptized so we decided to go and share in the fun.

On the way down while I was asleep, Brett took a detour through Zions National Park.  It was beautiful, but was not the expected route.

Jason and I slept most of the way down.  We medicated Jason when he tried to eat Duncan.  Then I medicated myself (Dramamine) when I had to let Duncan sit in the front so that I could sit with Jason in the back.

Duncan and Jason shared our room, and the girls stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Siddoway.  Duncan was a goof ball and I had to take pictures of his modeling session.

The next morning we got ready and went down to eat Breakfast.  The kids always get more then they can eat, which is why we love when the hotel has free breakfast!!!

Tori wasn't really awake yet.

I love this picture.  Duncan of course was posing, but so was Jason.  I love my boys!

Samantha was posing as well.  My cheesy kids!

After Reagan was Baptized we went back to Stan and Brenda's and had lunch.  After that we went swimming, and ate dinner.  Yes there was more then that but I can't remember much.

The next day we went to church and then went back to Stand and Brenda's.  This was the cousin time that the kids drove all those miles for.  Erika wanted to make a quilt for her personal progress.  Tori, Brett, Stan, and Grandma helped of course.

The kids all got along well.  They always do.

Duncan always tries to push the boundaries.  One of these days he might hurt himself.

We did take the boys swimming alone once.  Jason didn't sleep.  So we went pretty early and had the pool to ourselves.  Of course Jason LOVED it!!!

The kids played Mario Kart almost the whole day.  It's so nice when they have something that they can all do to

Jason struggled on this trip.  He didn't know anything, or anyone.  He didn't know places or faces.  So while Brett was quilting I took Jason down the street to the park.  That was a much needed break even in the Arizona heat.

Jason did enjoy their little Roller Coaster.  I just wish I could get him to understand that he needed to pick his feet up.  I think he would have fixated on this toy had that been possible.

And of course on the way home we had to stop and sit in the big rocking chair and get a treat and Dairy Queen.  Love it!

It was an enjoyable trip and a fast one.  We were all glad to get home and get a good nights sleep!!

October 11th

Duncan got another haircut.  We love Sue!

Jason hung out.  I thought it was really cute when he sat in a chair.  Weird I know!!  To think I get so excited when he sits.
