Do we always fight them about going to church, or do one day they decide to go for themselves? Duncan two weeks in a row has said "by the way, I threw up a little bit." So that is my new comment for everything! "Hey Mom, what's for dinner?" "I threw up a little bit". That works for everything!!!!

Tori and Samantha have been taking swimming lessons at the Recreation Center. Samantha is a little fish! She loves the water and I think if she didn't have to breath she wouldn't come up out of the water ever! We wanted Samantha to take swimming lessons mainly because she has no fear of the water. Which, with Sam's adventurous personality and insane spirit, she can be pretty nerve raking.

Tori couldn't go this time since she had surgery so here's a little video of Samantha. Can you tell I'm just having fun blogging? =)

Another update!! Jason sucked through a straw!!! I know that sounds so mild and somewhat ridiculous for how excited I am. However, the reason he couldn't nurse is because of his soft cleft palate. He could not maintain any suction. It's also a good development for speech as well!!

I'll be so excited to tell Paula from the school for the deaf. She has been a little bit concerned about this and was going to start recommending some occupational therapists. Now we don't have to!!! One less thing for me to worry about.

Tori Vision Update: Tori told me today that she can see the gas bubble in her eye. YAY!!!! That means her vision will slowly be returning! That made my day so I thought I would share.
So, I'm worn out from the annual shopping trip with my in-laws. My mother-in-law loves the sock sale, and my Father-in-law loves to people watch. I however need someone to drag my lazy bum out of bed to get out to the sales.

We went to Kohl s because they opened at 4:00 AM. I'm not sure I would go back there unless they organize there checkout better. They did have a good sale so I got some good toys for the husband. Yes, you read right, my husband.

Well gotta get to work. Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!!!

Had to share yesterday's trauma. Tori has decided that she is terrified of being alone. The sun had just gone down and I asked her to go upstairs and get her dance shoes. She was flipping out and throwing a tantrum. At 8 that's a little over the top. I wouldn't let anyone go upstairs with her, so she sat downstairs and cried for 1/2 an hour.

The difference between the kids.

Duncan: "Tori just think that Heavenly Father wouldn't make anything that would hurt us. He loves us too much. But if anything was up there everything has an enemy."

Tori: Sobbing hysterically.

Samantha: "Just think if anyone can do this, I can".

Tori: "I can't!!! I just want someone to come upstairs with me. Can Samantha come with me?"

Brett than asked. "Tori if there was something upstairs what is Samantha going to do to make it better?"

Samantha says "I would kick them and they would falls down." (Duh!!!)

Tori finally ran upstairs at top speed and came back downstairs beaming like she had accomplished something huge. Which she had, for her.

They all have there own personalities don't they?

Just had to show how Awesome Duncan thinks he is. He's so excited that he can ride the half-pipe now.
Jason thinks he's pretty cool too!!!

We went to the skate park yesterday. I have a wonderful "perk" from my awesome boss that I get a cleaning lady every other week. They came and I had to get the kids out of the way. Unfortunately that also means I have a headache from working to late. The vicious circle that is motherhood. At least the kids had fun!!! I guess I did too. Anytime away from my computer is fun time. Maybe I'll have to go and see Twilight just to get out of the house. =)

Well, I'm starting this blog thing. My reasons for doing so is my family life is a little crazy. We end up with a lot of doctor appts that we like to share and I figure it doesn't hurt me to express myself as well. We'll see how things go. Love y'all!!!
