Today I ran out to get Jason his hearing aid. He wore it for a whole 10 minutes today, so it should be a long haul if he is going to accept it. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the noise, just the ear mold in his ear. I'm hoping that it means he'll eventually take it. I know it would be good for him to have 2 ears that can hear. Do I expect miracles......NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course not. I don't expect him to start talking tomorrow. However, if we can take care of one of his issues I'll be happy. As a Mom I feel like my hands are tied. I don't know what will help, and what won't. I don't know if I should even bother on so many different things that we do. I just know that he has a hearing loss. I know that he can not hear out of his right ear. I know that it would be beneficial for ANYONE with a unilateral hearing loss to wear a hearing aid. So that is what we are trying. I'm hoping that things will just work out. I don't expect them to, but it would be really nice if it did. =)

if he has an unlateral loss, try looking into the Bicros or CROS aid
