I think I'm a little overwhelmed.

I can always tell what has been worrying me, because I for the most part always remember my dreams. Sometimes this can be a bad thing. =)

My most recent dream that I'm pretty sure "meant" something was yesterdays. I was on a really big boat rafting down a river with my family and my side of the extended family. Even though I was on this boat with my Husband, Mother, Father, Sisters and their Husbands I felt overwhelmed and torn in too many places.

It didn't matter how many times I tried I couldn't keep all 4 kids together with me all the time. I was always missing one of them. I just new that one of them would end up in the rapids, because I couldn't keep my eyes on all of them all the time.

This is me. I'm always juggling. I know I'm really BAD at juggling. I know that one of these is going to fall. Which one?

The funny thing is, this is how I really am. I can't see Brett behind me catching the rest of them. He's always there to support me, and the kids. I hope that I can figure out how to feel his support, because logically I know he's always there. My emotions and "psychosis" always get the better of me.

Today's going's on

Today Duncan took my old digital camera to school for a class assignment. This is the only picture of him that he brought home, other then his fingers. They were finding pictures of Geometric shapes. So I now have a bunch of close-ups of the school play ground.

Duncan also did the normal thing and took a picture of his teacher. This is Miss Henrie, she's done a wonderful job. Also, not to be out done by Duncan's Geometry project, I am an Aunt once again. Brock was born this morning at 7lbs 11oz and 21 inches long. He's a pretty good sized boy, and we are excited to see him. I'll post some pictures of baby Brock as soon as I get some!

And last but not least from the remainder of the day, while I was downloading Duncan's assignment pictures I found some pictures of Samantha's first day of Pre-school. Look how cute my baby is!!! Ok, I know she's not a baby anymore, but look at those cheeks!!!!

The Hubby's Back in Town!!!

I'm a bit exhausted. I'm not a good single parent. My husband was in Logan this week and I had to play Mom and Dad for a few days. This morning I woke up to Jason writing with permanent marker on my sheets.

Next Tori came into my room bleary eyed and somewhat incoherent and says, "Mom I need to bring home lunch today because we have our field trip and we're not sure if we will make it home in time to eat school lunch or not."

I jumped out of bed, which usually doesn't happen until at least 8:00am but happened to be 7:15am, threw on some clothes and then started making a sandwich for her. I realized at that point that I don't have sandwich bags. Ummmmm.........now what? So I told Duncan he's in charge while I take 5 minutes and run to the local convenience store to pick up some baggies. The trip is uneventful and I'm able to complete Tori's lunch without any casualties while I'm away.

It's X day at school for Samantha so I grabbed the X-ray we have of Jason from six months ago, after he swallowed a dime and it got lodged in his esophagus. I ran down to the "office" and made a copy for her to bring to school. You know that is the first thing that everyone thinks of on X day, but does everyone have a copy of a real one? Probably not. Especially one that is so blatantly obvious of what is wrong with the poor child whose parents are incompetent and didn't realize that he'd swallowed a dime for, oh...... 3-4 days. Then had to take him to the ER because he hadn't really eaten anything in said 3-4 days. Where they said ummmm......Your son has a coin lodged in his esophogus and we will need to do surgery to remove it because it isn't going anywhere. Ya, I'd say I'm an awesome parent sometimes!!!

Brett got home with around 1:30 pm and Jason was already asleep. Thank Goodness!!!!! It ended up being a pretty uneventful day other then the hour with 10 cub scouts that really wiped me out for the rest of the evening.

Then the dreaded ice cream man started playing that dreaded music as we were walking in the house from dinner. And it has actually gotten quite cold today!!

Wednesday.....

Tori's doing AWESOME! She hasn't complained once about anything. I can barely keep her under wraps. She has been go, go, going since Saturday, two days after her surgery. If it were me I think I would still be on the couch. She's been trying to deal with her contact by herself but has yet to be completely successful. She'll keep at it though until she's got it, she takes after her mother and is a bit stubborn. I have another appointment tomorrow with Dr. Bernstein so I'll update you then.(Sorry about the crappy picture from my phone.)

Wednesday's are always the day to keep moving and not stop until the head hits the pillow. With the new office manager and being payroll yesterday I had a hard time doing anything but work. Jason has a rash on his bum that won't go away so he needed so Medicine and Samantha needed a treat for Kindergarten so we had to run to Walgreens and pick up some supplies. She was supposed to bring something that started with "E". I found some awesome chocolate covered marshmellow eggs in an egg carton and everything, 99cents!!! I got them home and on the side was a big allergy warning. Samantha has a girl in her class that is deathly allergic to peanuts, so I had to find something else. I had to run back to the store and get something else for her class. Then it was nap time and back to work. Tori had dance, Duncan had Karate, Brett had Karate. Then Dinner, bedtime, work.....Then I realized I forgot to fill out the paperwork for the girls Braille classes, so I had to do that. Bedtime came too early, but yet not early enough. Oh well. The weekend is coming right?
