I took Sam to drop her off at Kindergarten today. She got out of the car all happy as a clam to be at school. I was late enough getting there that I would usually drive off, but decided to hang out for a minute and make sure she got into class. Next thing I know Samantha is at the van frantic!! She had forgotten her hat and it was hat day at school. This is another thing that affirms my decision to work from home. If I worked she would just be out of luck and she would have been brokenhearted.

As an adult "hat day" is a trivial thing that is not important and can be lived without, but for a five year old these things are important, and vital to ones happiness.
