Aaaaaaaaaaa piano!

Tori has signed me up as her accompanist for her flute solo for band class. I'm TERRIFIED! We picked a piece that looked a little complicated for her and now I have to play the piano for her. We just practiced (which I really don't have time for today). Hopefully tori will be better then me, and she won't be graded on my performance!!!!!!

Sunday night

My brother is quite talented in playing the piano. Jason has been enjoying music time with Papa Siddoway so I asked my if he would play with him sometime yesterday. Jason loved it.

My songs

My goal for spring break is to get the songs recorded out of my Mom's fun book and get it back to her. The book is My Picture Book of Songs.

These are some of the cute pictures that are in it.

I have another one but it's chalk full of songs. It's for kindergarten and first grade. They are pretty fun.

Orchestra Concert

Duncan had his first real Orchestra Concert last night. They played with all the elementary schools that she teaches as well as her Jr. High classes. They did really well. I was quite impressed with their ability to play with kids they had never met before. My video camera is MIA and the one that my sister gave me seems to be broken. So Grandma and Grandpa Siddoway did the video portion. As soon as I get the video from last night I'll post it.

You can barely see Duncan in this picture. He is right behind the line of girls in Purple.
This is my handsome boy in his new suit. He looks quite dashing doesn't he????

Violin?

Duncan has decided to be in the Orchestra. WHAT?????

Not that I doubt his ability, I just figured he'd learn to play the piano before he tried anything else. His interest in practicing has never been that grand. We went out and picked him up a violin at Summerhays music, and he is so excited.

Is this really how people learn to play? They just decide to be in the 6th grade orchestra and then are really good at it? We'll just have to see.
