Grandmas

Brett and Duncan spent most of the day on saturday working at Grandma Wilson's house. They are adding a 3rd bedroom downstairs so that a friend of ours can move into her basement. I told Brett to bring Duncan with him so he could "help". I really just wanted to get him away from the computer. Apparently he was a big help. He helped carry a ton of sheet rock downstairs and then Brett showed him a lot of fun things. My dad was all compliments and gratitude when the day was over.

Exercise

Yesterday Brett went to the Gym early in the morning.  He came into the bedroom beaming.  He passed his level 6 testing.  He was exhausted and starving, but he was so excited.  He had to work hard, and it was more then he thought he could handle. But, he did complete it.  Good job Babe!

I started over again.  My body isn't as resilient as Bretts and I quite going for a while.  I figure the point is I returned. I passed my level 1 testing.  It wasn't to painful, but it was a challenge.

1 minute squat, block run (I did it in 10:18. No running for me, just a brisk walk), band 3 arm combo, 1 minute plank, 20 hop-touch-reach without stopping.

More Swimming

Jason took a nap yesterday.  He crashed in his underpants and didn't wet his pants until we were at Grandma's house.  I followed him around forever, but when I finally sat down for a few minutes he went into the front room and went potty.  I've got to catch him in the act.  I just don't think he understands what we want him to do.

Swimming always makes him smile.
We smiles even bigger under the water.
I love when he relaxes in the water.  I wish he would do this more without his floaty.  He is actually able to float on his back without it, but he won't stay above water.
Duncan gets a little tired of pictures.  I love them.  I could take pictures and document our lives all day.
Jason thinks that you are a step stool when you are close enough for him to walk on.  He got Duncan good.
Samantha on the other hand wants her picture taken as many times as I will take it.  She is my beautiful little girl.
Dick has been working hard on the pool and the water was so clear, so I told Sam to go under water so that I could get a picture of her there.

Potty Training

Jason has been a little frustrated with the time in the bathroom.  I've got some books in the bathroom now, and I've got to remember to bring my phone or another ipod in with us.  He has been really hyper because he didn't sleep well last night.

1. He didn't potty.  He cried almost the whole time
2. He didn't potty. He fussed but listened to the stories as I read them.
3. He didn't potty.  He was better about sitting and wanted to get in the tub after sitting on the toilet.

12:00 pm he wet in his underwear.

4. He didn't potty. He pushed back against my hand when I pushed on his tummy a little.

Jason fell asleep.

Jason

Jason is not sleeping this week.  He had about 4 1/2 hours of sleep.  I took "video" of him last night.  It was dark, you can't see anything, but you can hear what he does.  He's can't sit still.  I can't understand what is going on with him.  My sweet kids took him downstairs this morning and watched him while I got some sleep.  My poor husband had to go to work.  I truly don't know how he does it.

Minecraft

Minecraft has his this family with a vengeance.  The girls look up videos of minecraft on Youtube.  Duncan makes his own videos of Minecraft for Youtube.  I swear this is the only thing my kids talk about.  I just barely realized that Sam wasn't in her bed.  (We were watching the Olympics).  I called her upstairs and this is the look we got about being up so late.  Sigh........

More Swimming

Jason loves jumping off the diving board the last couple days.  When he doesn't have his floaty on he touches the bottom of the pool.  He comes above water with a very satisfying inhale of air.  This makes me feel better, since I feel like most of the time he'd rather not worry about the intake of oxygen.
Samantha was the only other one with us tonight.  She enjoyed having close to half of the attention instead of closer to a quarter.  She loves hanging on me in the pool.  She knows my arm hurts so every time she grabs me she asks me which arm is the bad one.
Jason usually decides when we are done swimming.  He used to get out of the pool and run straight up to the house.  Today he came back and stood at the fence to make sure that the pool got closed.  He's my sweet boy.
