August 21

Brett moved my piano again.  I tend to make him move furniture around quite often.  Jason thinks the piano is great finally.  He sits down and plays it about 3 or 4 times a day.  Brett was playing, and my boys joined him.  Duncan gave me his creepy look.

I love how happy he is in this picture.

August 20th

I try and take a few pictures everytime we go swimming.  It's what we do.  That's what I need pictures of.  Jason has started to get out of the pool and go swinging for a while.  Then he'll go jump on the trampoline, then he'll climb up the deck and give Grandma Siddoway a heart attack.  Yes....my boy is a handful.

Sam is also my little fish.  She's enjoying everything!

August 19th

I love that we are close enough to our families that we see each other almost every week.  The kids love their cousins, and its nice to have some grown up conversations every once in a while.

My folks have a swing in the front yard.  T and B were drawing in the dirt.  Jason decided that he needed to swing.  As you can see Taylor wasn't very thrilled.

My sisters little girls are allergic to everything.  L was bummed that she couldn't go outside, and she really didn't feel good.  Duncan was doing his darndest to help his little cousin smile.

new job

In August a friend of mine posted on Facebook that her sister was hiring part-time associates at a new Dress Barn.  I decided to give it a shot.  I didn't try very hard.  I figured that if I got the job it would be the right thing for me.  I went to the interview, explained that I knew her sister.  I was in jeans and had mascara on.  That was it.  I put on some earrings and a necklace but that was the only accessories that I had.  I was just myself, and went home with a pretty good feeling about things.

The night of scouts I was hanging out in the hall, and my friends son said, "Congratulations on the job!"  I started laughing and asked him if he knew something I didn't.  The poor kid was mortified.

Well, I got the job and have quite enjoyed my new job.  I'm still working from home, so basically I'm working full-time now.  The problem with my at home job, is that there isn't a lot of work.  They say all they want that you can work a lot on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday...but Jason makes working 4 hours a hard day let alone 10.....so I got my awesome new job and I get a 40% off on full priced and 20% off of sale items.

I got my awesome scarf because our van doesn't have air conditioning  and it's better to  have the scarf then have to do my hair over again.

My feet and legs are slowly adjusting, but they were hurting for a long time!

This was the first night I closed.  I love our dressing room.  It's beautiful.

After not wearing make-up for so long I feel like I'm playing dress-up.

August 16th

Registration day.  That was a crazy morning.  We went to the school and then found out that unless we turned in Tori's immunization records we couldn't even pick up her schedule.  This wasn't a problem the previous year with Duncan.  I did eventually get his immunization records to them.  He was up to date of course.  I had to load the kids back in the car and then head over to the kids pediatrician and get a copy.  We went back and by that time, Jason was overwhelmed.  He freaked out and kept trying to beat up Duncan.  You should have seen the stares I received for that.  Especially when I got frustrated with the older brother who was trying to help.  Sigh.....it was a rough time.  I decided that since Tori has going to have a lot of help in Marcia, I didn't need to try sticking around too much.

since he freaked out we went swimming

August 15th

Jason has had a rough summer.  He's been enjoying swimming and so much that he wants to go up to Grandma and Grandpa Siddoway's house.  He knows that he needs to go in the van, and he knows how to get there.  If he's decided we are going there and we turn the wrong way, it's time for a huge melt down.

He discovered the neighbors kiddy pool.

He has naked in the house and then he was over the back yard fence and hanging out.

Tori has enjoyed young women quite a bit.  This day they got to ride the West's horses.  She was very excited.

Duncan received 4 merit badges and his camp patch.  they were the ones he earned at summer camp.

This summer my kids caught the late night bug.  Samantha was the worst.  With her bedroom upstairs she was up and down a lot.

Cathing up...again

August 14th is our Anniversary.  I advised Tori that I must like her because i wanted to make sure she could see, and that took presidents over sleeping in.  Her eyes were good.  No problems, and no laser.  Thanks goodness.

Jason has discovered that he can play on his dutch door.  Sigh......he enjoys doing things to make me crazy.

Brett and I have been married over 16 years now.  Strange.  We have 4 kids, yet, it seems like yesterday.  This year has brought a lot of stress, and troubles.  Jason has got me struggling for sanity at times.  Brett is pure calm.  He never over reacts, and he is loving and happy.  I hope to be like him someday.
